Well, there is such thing as better actually. Having $5 is better than having $2, right? Well, PC's perform better than consoles. Whether you care about that or not, is irrelevant, PC hardware is still better. Most of the kids who get butthurt about PCMR are pre-pubescent, and it's always pretty funny when they hit a rage for no reason, whether it's about console wars, PCMR or anything.

+1 to the rewording. The whole "understand the benefits" thing was just rude. Some people just prefer couch gaming and that's fine. What's not, is trying to claim that consoles have better hardware or can perform better than PC's.

*sigh* Unfortunately, not everyone got over the "your mum" shit.

PC's are better than consoles, people play consoles for convince and typically their real life friends play consoles as well. Rather not fork out money for a PC that does the same job as a console, when all my friends play on consoles.

Plus, on a pre sesh for a night out, are you gonna have a few games of FIFA on your Xbox or have a quick bash of LoL with your buds? Simple things

Ive compared BF3 on 360 to PC and its a complete no go.

But consoles are generally for finding friends easier and have a community with most players having mics.

I find that PC's are for the more hardcore gamers, with a wide array of expert equipment/software available to you, so you can enhance your game.

I like consoles, because they're so easy to use and setup. All my friends are on consoles, I don't know a single person who's a PC gamer.


You do not need to be an "expert" to build, and maintain a PC.

As someone who's built PCs for around 2-3years, it's legitimately adult legos with cords. Read the manual, plug in things where they go, if you're stuck you watch a video (I will ALWAYS recommend NewEgg/LinusTechTips for FULL build guides)

I agree with they are "easy to use and setup" In fact they actually are better in that sense.

I was a console gamer for 6-7years before I switched to PC. No one I knew was a PC Gamer either. But I still switched and do not regret it at all.


I know I wouldn't be able to build a PC. I know nothing about technology. I prefer playing consoles, because of the simplicity of it. I use to have a gaming PC, it'd freeze all the time, the internet wouldn't work on it for days or even possible weeks. It completely put me off PC gaming.

1. Pre-Builts are 99% bad, and overpriced because they're selling "pre-built high quality" PCs to people who don't care about what they're buying.
2. If it was "freeze all the time, the internet wouldn't work on it for days or even possible weeks." First of all, If you're planning to play games on PC, ALWAYS GET ETHERNET. Wifi is not as good when it comes to gaming.
If it was freezing that does not sound like a hardware problem, rather software/OS. Therefore, it's most likely your fault. You must've gotten ridden with virus' and were too lazy to fix the problem.

Re-install OS, download needed programs from their Legitimate websites, if it does not "freeze all the time" then it was something you did.

If it "freezes" even after a re-install of the OS, it's your CPU bottlenecking, or your HD is dying.


TL;DR
Pre-builds suck, always will suck. Do it yourself save 100-200$ because they over-charge you.
Take care of your PC and you wont experience any issues.
