I just got a new AOC 23" I2367F monitor, it has built in speakers but for some reason I can not get them to work.
I have downloaded the drives off the CD disk it came with but when I try to open them to install them nothing will happen, over all I'm just really confused..
+REP for the ones who help me fix these small problems!
Thanks!
Yes, I posted in the support forums but I haven't got any help. So I posted here as well

what display cable are you using?
Because VGA & DVI don't transfer sound.
if the connector is DVI-D it can be converted to HDMI for audio and video output.

I believe you can get a DVI converter that has sound with it.

Alexyy is probaly correct with the cable solution, but I would aslo look for a more up to date driver online as the driver on the CD will probaly be one of the first driver updates they had.

Sound settings > go to properties of monitor sound in playback > Levels tab > Make sure its at 100 and not muted
Google your monitor model and see if theres any common fixes if its faulty in itself.
