So my motherboard started overheating after installing a new cpu cooler.

Can i replace the motherboard heatsink anyhow or replace the thermal paste?

Those temperature stats are not that accurate, but at gaming-load the max it should reach is around 45C. I would look into buying another motherboard if you are worried

That is an incorrect reading... Your motherboard doesn't run that hot.

Unless when you touch it, you get burns n shit.

I really doubt it's getting close to that hot,

To test crack a egg on it and if it's really that hot enjoy fried egg

Probably a mobo sensor issue - its a mis read anyhow.

They dont actually use paste either, they use pads.

Either way, you dont need to change out your mobo.
