Words are adopted by different countries all of the time and changes are made to the spelling all of the time.
English is always adopting Americanised words, not to mention all the French, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and German words that we have taken.

English itself is entirely based on Latin, are you saying that England isn't a proper country because it can't form it's own language and produce its own correct grammatical structure?
Go back 400 years and English looks completely different to what it does now.
Would Shakespeare say that we weren't truly English because of how we speak today?

I believe what I see. Future predictions are so vague and not accurate enough to go into depth of what's going on behind the curtain.
