Yes, if you are active you will get the most out of it. If you don't plan on being active I wouldn't get it

Not true in the slightest. If you look up to users just because they have a coloured name and a badge, you need to change your idea of people you look up to. Gold means nothing, just a nice way to help the site out...

When I said credibility I was being sarcastic. But still if anything people who actually spent money on this site are less likely to be careless in fear of being banned and losing their money.

Depends... I see users who join, 1 post, buy gold then scam so... Like I said, to me gold means nothing. Time, effort and generally helping out mean more than a badge
