Here is just a help thread for people to check with if they dont have anything to talk/post about.



This thread is to help out all those members who are posting stuff like this:
"bored nothing to talk about.."
"anything interesting going on?"
etc...

So here are some conversation starters, and some very helpful topics to post when you find yourself with nothing else to talk about and want people to open up and start talking.

Controversial/debatable topics are good.
these topics let the other members chose a side and post about what their opinion is on the issue.
examples:
*smoking.
*stem cell.
*child abuse.
*sexual harassment.
*school violence

Music Topics.
these are always a hit, everyone likes music so ask a music question. that gets people talking.
* genre
* specific person/group
* favorite instrument
* who do you play with
* have you ever been in a concert

New Moives.
new movies out in theater or coming to theaters are also good. maybe talk about which one of the moives you liked this month and why. Or maybe you've heard of a movie coming out later that year and post a preview to it.
* whats the most popular
* type of movies do ttg members like
* favorite, why?
* who you go to the movies with
* funniest thing that happened in the theater?[/

Hobbies.
hobbies are a good topic to get on to because they are fun - that is why we do them. maybe ask whats there favorite hobbie and why? maybe youll find something you have in common with a ton of people you know nothing about.


Vacations
mostly everyone goes on a vacation once in a while, So ask if anyone is planning on going on a vacation if so, where?. maybe you could ask why they decided on that location. Or ask them if anyone has any good stories- everyone likes to talk


Sports.
ask the other members of ttg what there favorite sports team is and why? maybe theres a big game/series coming up and take a poll on which team they think will win.


Fashion.
there is alot of different types of fashion, So ask ttg members a question about what type of fashion class there associated with goth, prep, jock, geeky, etc..., you could also ask which stores they shop at most for clothes(different stores all over the world)

Technology.
if there's a new peice of technology cooming out soon then start a topic about that including facts and pics, discussing pros and cons. (ex. ipad).
*what kind of ipod do you have
*maybe make a topic with a list of new updates for the certain computer.

Gaming.
seeing that this is a gaming site and all, start a topic about a new realese coming, or make a video and post it.
* ask whats their favorite game
* favorite maps
* certain stratigies
* big series such as Final Fantasy/Fallout which require a lot of hours playtime.. a lot of people could help each other, discuss tactics etc
* make a montage {post vid}
* find a new glitch {post vid}
* what is the most popular game out there?


Forum games.
These are always a hit. pretty much evreyone like playing games while on the internet. so here are a few things to help you start a thread about them.
* post a link to the game
* if its really hard maybe make it a contest
* make a topic on what peoples thoughts are about a specific game
* alot of people will attempt the game and in turn reply with a general description on what their thoughts were.


Tutorials.
everyone on here has watched a tutorial or two in the last month. they are very helpful. these will get you +repped and maybe some friend requests.
* post a tutorial on something that alot of people have been asking questions about.
* how to do a certain glitch/mod
* these will help you get subs on youtube if you post your channel after the vid

New ideas will be added with some help from the TTG Community. Please post under this topic with any other ideas that you might want to get added to the list.

overall i think this is a amazing post, well explained. However if you did this for a sticky you pry wont get it.
