Half of the folk I work with are polish and they don't bother me

I wish the U.S Members would reply like this if someone made a rant about "immigrants 'stealing jobs' in us" Would be totally different replys if it was so..

I understand what you're saying, but Polish come over here and work for less money than what a British person would work for. I'm 20 and I've never had a proper job yet because there is no work and when there is work a immigrant will work for less meaning they'll get the job.

Same issue in the United States with hispanics taking all our jobs and for less pay so thats how they get them too, but in reality there's just not enough jobs period for the growing populations

Has to be the most overused and utter bollocks excuse ever. By LAW immigrants work for the same amount of money as everybody else, the standard UK minimum wage (£6.70 i believe) The only reason you have not found a job is because you are lazy and only want a job that suits you because you would rather sit around and blame your uselessness on someone else.


I am Welsh born and bred with no qualifications and yet the longest i have ever been unemployed in my 5 year of being an "adult" is 3 months due to PTSD. Yet, I have had no issues finding a job and have worked in everything from cleaning toilets in McDonalds to Chauffeuring overpaid clowns around the country ... There are millions of jobs out there you just have to take your head out of your ass, accept the fact that life is a bitch and stop being a child about it. Work is work, the reason immigrants come to this country is because they know they can make a good honest living doing things that British natives refuse to do.

ANYONE who says there is no jobs out there and blames it immigrants should be deported! it is an insult to your forefathers who made this country what it is, If it wasn't for immigrants this country would be nothing.

You clearly don't know how factories and business's are run. Polish work here for far less than minimum wage. Also how you call me lazy is beyond me I've tried everything to get a job. I go on indeed everyday and guess what? There is none. Also I don't claim any benefits before you start talking shit like that and if anyone needs to get their head out of their own arse it's you. If you go any further up you'll be needing breadcrumbs to find away out again.

The area I live in we are infested with people immigrating from India, they barely work, take all of our jobs and benefits, and barely contribute back whatsoever, they always try to be so **** cheap, I mean I understand that its just how it is from where they come from but you could at least try to catch on to our customs instead of making them your own

I'll admit, i laughed at the breadcrumb bit. GG. And for the record i never said a thing about benefits nor was i suggesting anything to do with benefits, as they are infact there to help and support those who are in need.


Anything is achievable if you try hard enough. So the fact you say "there is none" is utter bollocks. Open your mind to new opportunities and don't be afraid to fail. Using the interwebs to find a job doesn't end well, mainly due to the easy access. You've probably heard it many times before but it actually works. Print CV's (shit loads) and hand them out at every store in your area, Even if they're not hiring. Chances are you'll be kept in mind if you are worthy enough.

I have worked in factories and currently still do. Other than the manager i am the only born and bred Brit and yet, all the people who work with me (many different nationalities) are on exactly the same pay as meh.

In my opinion, as long as you are bringing a skill or a trade over to the UK, I'm happy to see anyone come here! What i don't like are those who come over here and take benefits and get no job!
