I see what you were going for here, a few thing im gonna point out is the perception on the grass are below him is off.
Overall it should look a bit more straight on (less perspective) due to the angle of the render and core background.
You may have wanted to add some more grass layers through the back off the image so it doesn't look like there is a 3in patch of grass in a circle.
Perhaps some dirt and rootwork would be cool hanging off of the platform giving it some more depth as well,
and I would have liked to see something done to the background as well besides just the black but nevertheless blending is decent and its a fair piece.

That's awesome. I really like the border.
I like this style of tag way more than the generic full canvas ones.
