Do not buy any Beats, they're way overpriced and sound terrible. Bose headphones are decent but again, they are overpriced.
Personally, for dubstep, I would recommend the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. They absolutely crush the Beats Mixrs and cost like $150. Maybe read [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and decide on what's best for you.

I die a little on the inside every time someone says Beats are the best, cause they are not even close.
Other than that, anything Sony or Bose, with your budget, will be worth your money.

At that budget DT770's are nice.
M50x are overpriced in my opinion so I wouldn't bother getting those.

Agreed, the Sony MDRV6 especially is very nice and only costs like $100.

DO NOT get beats. They are at best like $80 quality headphones priced at $300 just because they have a little "b" on the side of them.

I'll never understand why people will spend 100s on headphones. 30 or 40 fair enough but 250? Is it really worth it?

I've got a pair of DT990's which ran me for 150GBP and I haven't regretted it since.

But, you could just have a almost just a good pair for what £50 or £60? The difference is minimal.
