I would just be straight with her and tell her how I feel. You don't want to wait to wait too long and someone else snatches her from you or she starts seeing you as her brother ...

Go for it, what have you got to lose?
Even if she says No, at least you tried, yeah it may be awkward, but whatever then outcome, I doubt it will ruin your Friendship with her.

There are 2 things that can happen.
1. You tell her how you feel and it goes great, y'all date etc.
2. You tell her how you feel and she doesn't feel the same way and it's awkward between the both of you and the friendship is ruined.
