Were at the end of the 35 POE and our friend lagged out and he can't join back in because fireteam joining is disabled, I know they said in the reveal there are no check points but does anyone know if they reversed the decision or if you go to orbit you dont keep the check point

For anyone wondering you dont keep the checkpoint, If you go to orbit you start back at wave 1
