On career mode i have a youth player in my youth sqaud, i have offered them a contract and they have accepted but the will not move to my main team, any ideas?

you have to offer them another contract for a first team player, if you have, then you may not have enough places in your squad. Otherwise a player has to be at least 16 to move to your first team squad.
