I followed your steps correctly yet when i open CoC there are no changes... just my regular clash.

OP changed tutorial.
Anyways, its because my server runs off public DNS IP instead of normal.
Which allows a user to connect when they are on their home wifi. But they would type my IP inside DNS 1 in their wifi settings.

This is quite misleading. You mention nothing about how this is not for the actual CoC server. Plus there are much simpler methods in doing this and a plethora of tutorials. But I guess good job anyways.
