The OSRS team has good detection rates since the last few months with bots, they have been able to get rid of majority from what I'm led to believe.

A lot of people actually play RS3 Still, I have recently gotten back into taking a break on 07, the player counter on runescapes website shows from all the oldschool/rs3/forums but oldschool it self will show you RS on its own it's about 50/50 on each game for player base (40k) at a time.

i still play rs3 i never touched 07 i really enjoy it

I don't belive they're fake, no reason for them to "Fake" the numbers since they are still getting a big amount of revenue from membership and MXT, and not to mention since the first bot nuke it lost over 120k on at a time..

You really see no reason for them to fake the amount of players online? Look at the amount of people playing on the world lists compared to how many they say is online. Huge difference... Also, where is this "big amount of revenue" going too? Sure as hell isn't being fed back into the game.
