Flying is fun but you will have a better time with friends or family.

You're hundreds of times more likely to get into a car crash vs. getting into a plane crash.

I have been on planes many of times and I don't think I have experienced the ear popping, but you sould most definitely take a laptop to play games on or do some work "on computer"

The worst part about flying is your ears popping, I always hold my nose and close my mouth and try breath out and it help, if you get what i mean.

Plus you have more chance of getting cancer than your plane crashing, so I've heard.

Take some sweets, chewing gum (helps with the nerves, calms you down) put plenty of films on an iPad or Tablet, if you have any of those. Maybe an iPod so you can listen to some music and hopefully drift off to sleep. Take a little blanket because it does get chilly once up, also a pillow.

Hope this helps.
