You can still be a 'fan' if you want multiplayer added. I'm a fan of the series and I think a multiplayer addition would be a good idea.

How would it ruin the game if it was an option? Nobody would force you to play the multiplayer aspect. I'm sure you could 100% it given a few achievements.

I agree with this, personally I hope Fallout stays singleplayer as I love the singleplayer feel to the game and I don't get that experience with any other game.

I don't think you guys understand that you are NOT required to play multiplayer. I am 1000% positive you can play through the entire story without even thinking about joining a friend to play it.

Plus, if you were a "true fan" you would be more optimistic about Bethesda trying to expand the series. Stop hating the multiplayer possibility simply because you can.

No, any 'true fan' would not want multiplayer. I don't think you understand it would ruin the game, instead of them focusing on the story they will put more effort towards multiplayer.

Look at Call of Duty, the story has gone down hill since the Modern Warfare series, why? because they put more effort into a shitty multiplayer because people play that more than the story.

I don't think multiplayer fits as a component for a game series like fallout.

You must not have played the CoD story modes, then. BO2 was an awesome story. One of my favorite.

When we say multiplayer, we do not mean PvP. It will be Co-Op Campaign if anything. It will require minimal effort to let players connect to other's games. Plus Bethesda know what they are doing. Have faith, "true fan."
