To do the glitch.. Do i need to hit "add new account" when signing into the 2nd account, or can it be an account which has already been downloaded onto my xbox?

it can already have been on your xbox if you haven't been on fifa or done the glitch before with that account

Can i do all the steps uup until step 5 and then send my friend the email and password and the points still be on the account if he recovers it on his xbox

I would take the risk and go with the 100k packs as they don't come out very often
