Me and my friend can't connect to a party or game. We get an error each time we try to join a game or party. Anyone else having the same problem?

As long as you have a moderate or Open nat type party chat and the ability to join a friends game should be possible without problems.
But clearly your having issues with this so try this solution below, it worked for a friend of mine so yea:
1- Go to settings -> Power & Start up settings.
2- Where it says power options, it will say "Power mode Instant on", go ahead and turn that off.

Now this may sound odd, but i assure you it worked for my friend when i was at his house. The only disadvantageous thing with this compared to have the option to instant on, is that it will take around 30 seconds extra for it to boot up.

Yeah I tried everything, even that and I have an open NAT and so does he, the only way to connect to him for me is by using an Ethernet cable and we still get disconnected sometimes like that, it sucks.

Hmm. I heard an update is coming which fixes party issues, or it may already have been released not sure.
