Ok hey. I'll make this quick... My screen is dim and wont light up! I've tried unbricking it, restoring it, and syncing it! MULTIPLE TIMES.

I really need some help with this. I've tried changing the brightness ect and it hasn't worked!!!!

If someone could please troubleshoot this for me I'd be so happy!!!!

I am not shipping my ipod anywhere and it does have a cracked screen.

Well what I can get from your explanation is that the screen is dim pretty much. From my experience my screen kind of flickered while dim. My fix is restarting the device and that's it.

Thanks for the help but that hasn't worked in my case . I'm really at a loss as to what to do! I'm past my 1 year warranty with Apple, and my screen is cracked so I can't get a new one...

and my screen stays EXTREMELY DIM. Far below the lowest possible setting.

I have tried charging it and it is charging. This has not helped the dim screen . It is not jailbroken and has the latest firmware.

Well it the dim lighting is shattered, your probably have to go to ebay or something like that and buy a repair kit to fix it.
Now let me tell you this, its a pain in the arse trying to open it and getting to where you need to go to fix the dim, and be as careful as you can.
