Sorry I am well aware that this belongs in the PC forums but I need a quick answer from you guys in building a gaming desktop, this is going to be a very low budget build and was wondering what would be the better choice.
dual-core processor running at 4.2 Ghz with L1 Cashe: 96Kb and L2 Cashe: 1MB

Quad-Core processor running at 3.7Ghz with L1 Cashe: 2 x 96KB Instruction
4 x 16KB Data and L2 Cashe: 2 x 2MB

I have already found out that either will work with my motherboard and not taking into account the graphics card or anything which is typically better for my gaming experience (typically minecraft, gta V, Fifa 15, Advanced Warfare, and titles to come)
The price difference is that of $15 so that doesnt need to be taken into account i am just confused due to my minimal knowledge in the field and my general understanding that more cores are better but higher Ghz are also better so i need some guidance. Again im aware this is in the wrong forum i just really needed help and thank you so much for your time and it feels good to be back after like 2 years away from this site! Thank you so much for your help

The 860k is better, grab that. It's a decent little FM2+ chip.
