Budget and currency for upgrades?
Need the make and model of your psu, open up the side panel and try locate some kind of indication showing the make and wattage.
What specific 78** series is the card?
Whats the PC Being used for?

Budget Of around £200 - £300
PSU - Cooler Master 500W
Specific GPU - Msi twin Frozr iii
The pc is being used to play a variety of games.. it performs well on most but games like battlefield it will struggle on high settings but will run fine on medium-low

Will work out just under 300 but will be around 200 once you sell your GPU depending on the exact card.
I didn't mean the manufacturer (MSI) I Meant the actual card, it states its an AMD 78** Series but not he exact one. Could be a 7850/7870?

Buts is not bad at all just that the AM3+ Socket is dead and there is no real upgrade path and would choose intel over Amd.

You can still do a lot on it, I don't think it'll be unusable any time soon. But definitely consider upgrading your cpu in a few years. I think the 970 in a couple of years will be fine to game on.
