Im thinking of getting a Corsa C Sri for my first car.
But I'm not sure about the insurance.
If anyone has/had one at 17/18 can you tell me how much you paid for insurance?
I know it depends on engine size, location etc but at least I will have a rough estimate of how much I'll be paying!

Get a quote for one of the year of the car you're buying. That way you'll get an actual price.

I don't know what modifications the car will have.
I may buy one fully stock it fully pimped.
I'm not sure just yet and quotes tend to take a long time so I'd rather just get quotes from TTG members.

Well it depends on the engine, year, model.
And many many other things. Could be £800 could be £2000. It will be a guessing game.
But if you have any mods on it for a first time car, you will have to pay an absolute fortune for it or you may not get it insured at all.

I don't mean major mods such as turbo, engine upgrade.
I mean like new rims, tinted windows, lowered suspension, camber axels. Basic mods.

Mods are mods as far as insurers go. The only way you're putting them on your car without paying 5k + for insurance is if you don't declare them.
But that brings it's own risk.
Mods are a bastard when you first start driving.

It's a Corsa. You don't "modify" it.
It's a first car, use it to get from A to B. You're not a professional driver nor is the car a race car.
Just type in "Corsa meme" into google. This proves that a Corsa will never look cool even with 10k of mods spent on it.
I don't mind old Corsas but just don't mod it. Stickers will not add extra BHP.
Edit: Is it the 1.4 or 1.8?

Yeah if you don't declare them and the advisor sees anything, it'll void your insurance and you wont get a payout. Not a good risk to be taking.
I'd have a stab around £1200-£1450, of course there's a lot of information they take into consideration (where it's parked etc).

Its a total guessing game with insurance even simple things can affect it. My cousin lives a street away from me and his insurance is higher than mine...
Mods are a no and so is a Corsa.

I didn't mention anything about the speed or stickers.
I'm not bothered about the speed.
I think corsas look nice when there dropped to the floor with some nice rims on.
That's my opinion you opinion may be different but I love bagged corsas.
I hate people who make the engines sound like a Ferrari and they put spoilers on and big bore exhausts with a wide body kit.
That's not cool..
