YOU HAVE WIFI AT SCHOOL? What? I have it but it is password protected and only staff can use it, I have to rely on 3/4G. As for the WiFi for being shut off, I feel like they should only punish the ones that are involved, not the entire school.

Why not just suspend the kids? It's more trouble for the teachers.

Well that's the schools fault for not blocking off all the porn sites. At my high school you can't even go on porn. Trust, I've tried

Xiggy wrote Agree and il explain why. Im in the IT Technicians shoes right now. I work in a school doing that job and we had a year 8 watching Zoo pornography in the school. We had to shut down the WIFI as an emergency measure to protect the students from watching this illegal activity.
They found a loophole which needed to be fixed from outside the school. This takes time and as such, the WIFI was off for a few days whilst they blocked everything they could.
Pornography should not be watched at school and as such, students [and teachers if they where to] should be disciplined. Its partly the IT Supports fault too for not blocking the website[s]
Well you are a shit IT workers, why not such block the world "porn" or "sex" so on?
Rather shut down the Internet ?

I don't think that was a great idea even though at my school they had the wifi password protected. Even then the password protection wasn't much use because certain teachers would give us the password.
One of my friends watched some in class when they weren't doing anything. He was surrounded by a bunch of people. The only reason he got caught is because someone snitched on him.

Nothing to do with being shit.
More to do with how easy it is to get round things these days, You may filter as much as you like but determined people will always find a way.

When you do my job, you can tell me that I'm a shit IT technician.
Since our internet is outsourced by the county, we dont cover filtering, they do. There is alot blocked, but this sit wasn't. Its not up to us to block it.
Moreover, it was just on the Wifi , not the internet that the PCs run on so they want affected.
Don't judge on what you don't know.
Oh, and one doesnt just shutdown the internet.
