I need help. I was playing a match of counter strike go and the audio randomly stopped working. I've tried different monitors, different audio cables, different headphones, updating the drivers, and even factory resetting my pc and nothing makes it work. It just says that the cables are not connected. Any idea what it is or what I could do? If you guys could help I'd really appreciate it.

It's set to my speakers but it just says that they're disconnected. The only thing that doesn't appear as disconnected is the optical port.

Try checking internally for anything partially or fully disconnected.

What motherboard do you have and how long have you been using it. As it sounds to me like the audio chip has developed a fault.

The computer is only a week old but I think this is the case. I purchased warranty for it when I bought it and I contacted them and they're gonna give me a new mother board or audio chip. Thanks for the help everyone I appreciate it.
