Hello, how are you doing?
I've decided to build my own PC and I'm not sure if I should buy 3x 1080p Monitors and use them for my PC or if I should buy one large 4K monitor or if my PC can even handle either of these. My specs will be below, can someone help me out?
Processor - Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core
RAM - 16GB
Video Card - MSI GeForce GTX 980 4GB Twin Frozr Video Card
Motherboard - MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Or you could grab a 970 and a 1440p panel.
If you haven't already bought the rig, that is.

Sancty is right on the post above. A 970 would do fine a 1440p panel, but if you are stuck to getting the 980, the 3 1080p monitors would be the way to go.

4K = 3840 X 2160
3X 1080P = 5760 X 1080
So 4K would be better than 3X 1080 if you want a more enjoyable experience, and as I have seen from my own tests and videos on it, about half of the surrounding monitors are stretched as can be seen here.
