Hi on the PS3 I have the HDMI cord plugged in and the HD Component cables and when I try to connect to the hd components it doesn't set up to it and will only stay the hdmi cables. please help

turn ur ps3 off then turn it on but keep holding the power button until you hear the second beep

While connecting the Component cables to the ps3 and when it is black turn it off?
