hey ttg!
so im purchasing my last part for my build and my friend offered me to buy one of his at a good price.
I have the option between an MSI Gaming 7, Gigabyte GA-z97x Gaming 5, or an ASUS z97a.
They are all used and the same price, only thing is the MSI and Gigabyte have a manufacture warranty left. (1 year)
Which one would you guys recommend i purchase? Thanks !

Depends on what CPU you have
if you don't have a overclockable CPU then Z97 is a waste

It really depends on the rest of your rig and how much you're paying but from those 3 boards, I'd personally take the MSI mobo.

though ive heard that gigabyte gaming 5/7 boards have 8 true power phrases compared to MSI which only has 6. They say this makes gigabyte boards better at overclocking. thoughts?
