So I decided to keep my computer and upgrade it instead, anyone know a cheap way? I have a HP Pavillion p7-1154. I would like to at least upgrade it to be able to play like fallout 4 on high. Budget would be a couple hundred around 300$.

Download Speccy and post a screenshot for us. Your PSU and case will need upgraded before anything else, and it'd be wise to invest in at least, a 1080p monitor, when possible.

Just saying, no way you'd be able to play Fallout 4 at high settings with $300 of upgrades. Most likely your PSU, case and motherboard would need to be upgraded as well.
