TaigaAisaka wrote Just a heads up (no pun intended) even if on your screen you can't see over cover, doesn't mean the enemy can't see the very tip of your head. The hit boxes on this game are a few pixels around your character, so even if they see the slightest pixel of your head and shoot it, you'll get hit. On top of that, there are parts where you can accidentally elevate yourself, meaning there is a slope, that when you walk to it, you slowly push up a little, even without knowing it. While crouched, you can't see over, but your whole head may be sticking out to anyone else.

On top of that, D2 is the most played map. D2 spots hardly matter, since everyone knows them, everyone checks their corners, checks spots that are used the most, unless they don't have game sense. On that map, it truly matters more of who has the better accuracy, faster reaction time and who hits first. I know other maps that applies too, but there are still spots that people don't know about or check, as compared to D2. Left alley, also known as Long/Long A, is one of the easiest spots to get picked and get picks, including Suicide (straight from T spawn to middle), Middle/Cat and of course Upper Tunnels and back boxes (back of B site.)

Another thing, people can gain advantages with bigger resolutions and better computer hardware, as they can have max settings, max shading, everything which helps them see better at a distance, while a lot of pro players play on smaller resolutions, bigger resolutions increase your FoV and ability to see at a greater distance much easier.

Lastly, the skill gap. You put a Silver into a game with Master Guardians, and they'll assume the MGs are hacking because of their constant headshots, their constant pushes, how they hold sites, how they can control recoil better, check spots, game sense and skill in general. Smurfing is quite common, where you will get someone say in MG, who makes a new account, to play with people in Silver, Gold Nova, ect, and get much easier wins. In this game, the head is the place to hit, higher skill groups have had much more time and practice to perfect their crosshair placement, their spray pattern and recoil control in order where they hit shots easier. They also pay attention to the map more, they learn where people keep going and will either continue to go there for the kill or avoid that area if they have been dying there constantly.

MG's getting constant headshots. That made me chuckle a bit. Mg is the new silver.

I agree and I'm an MGE, there are a lot of players who have horrible crosshair placement let alone anything else. It's a little silly.

People in MGE think they are amazing so they don't try as hard as they did in GN

Yeah that's very true. When I top frag and we lose the game people still try to talk shit and say they're better when clearly, they are not. Guess it is what it is.
