First off, NOTHING has been confirmed yet and there is every possibility Activision's corporate greed could stop this from happening.
As a self admitted COD Fanboy, knowing that BO2 is (currently) in the #1 spot for user-voted reverse compatibility titles makes me very very hopeful that this can happen.

The only thing's I'm worried about is Activisions sheer and utter greed for money. Did anyone else notice the announcement that Activision was talking of "remastering" old CODS less than 1 week after reverse-compatibility was announced by Xbox? That itself worries me like instead of making it reverse compatible for the millions of fans who made them what they are today, we will instead have to wait 1-3 years and pay full retail price for a 'remake'. - AGAIN this is just SPECULATION and I'm not saying any of this will happen, it's all possibilities at the moment.
The Call Of Duty community needs this, Ghosts and Advanced Warfare have been trash for most of the old-school Call Of Duty players like myself. (AW is only good when the connection is good, and Ghosts is just a cancer to the FPS scene)
