I posted this earlier and it's gone, for some reason.

My primary Xbox Live account that I started with was perma-banned about 5 years ago, for an invalid reason, so every once in a while I would check to see if they ever changed their minds about it. Well now that I'm on the Xbox One, I decided to check there. Every time I've tried to connect to Xbox Live on my Xbox 360, I get the message stating that it's suspended until 12/31/9999 but I didn't get that on the Xbox One and was able to connect to Xbox Live.

Posting so others can check their perma-banned accounts from the Xbox 360 to see if they can also connect to Xbox Live on the Xbox One.

Note: I've double checked the forum rules and this, nor my previous post, broke any of them. Thank you.

I was so hopeful when I saw this haha, just tried mine and still says it is banned sadly. Great that you are able to use yours though!

Yes you have been banned only difference is on Xbox one you can still message eat but can't play online

Damn you! Haha I checked my old account that had almost 50000 gamerscore. Its still banned had a lot of game saves for backwards compatibility too which sucks. Oh well I get to play them all over again

I got banned with 15,400 GS and yeah that really pissed me off but all well : ( how did you get banned anyway

I got caught using cod mods haha. Was fun back then but looking back at it was pointless and stupid. Why I hate friends lmfao

I don't get it...I don't get why I can connect to Xbox live with my banned account but you all cant. When I try on the 360, it still says suspended but on the one I connect no problem. Doesn't make sense.
