I honestly want to see what the community thinks, this guy pretty much said he wanted an $800 PC with little to no intentions of upgrading much because he's not going to be playing many AAA titles.

No Monitor
No Peripherals
No OS

2 different guys have put together a list, & to shut them up, I told them I'd put it on here to see what what people have to say, which do you think is better?

*Note: I don't why one of them put an OS when he said he didn't need one..

The intel build is the best of the two by far. The AM3+ socket is pretty much dead at this point, also the cooler in the AMD build is quite noisy and certainly is not as good as the Noctua. Intel chips are also better optimised for gaming, clockspeed is not everything remember.

Only get a K series CPU if you plan to overclock.

Also try and save up a bit extra cash and get a SSD on the intel build. SSDs can make boot times as low as 20 seconds, once you have one you can not live without one.

They're both shit.

Not overclocking- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

No overclocking, no SSD, but most powerful GPU of the 3 choices- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Or, overclocking option- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
