Hello TTG!
I'm actually not completely sure. I like editing, because of how creative it can be, and it also challenges me. The only reason I really stopped is because people are picky as hell. I constantly do my best, but they don't like!

People who are 'pricky can be useful (like me lmao)
negativity is a good thing if you are a editor as you will know what to improve on.
If you edit for a customer and they don't like it than it is entirely your fault (as harsh as it sounds) - you can't just expect people to pay for something they don't like
You should start editing (but only for yourself) if you do not like people being picky
