Im cheap right now and all i really need to upgrade is my CPU.

Current Setup:
Athlon II x4 635 @2.9ghz
8gb ddr3
r9 270x

Just wanna know whats the best cpu for the fm2+ socket type.

That's an AM3 CPU, so I assume you don't have a board yet. You'll want an 860K/870K if you get an FM2+ board. What's your budget?

okay lol, correction on my part.. What would be the best AM3 CPU then?

Im trying not to upgrade the motherboard yet. If i can get a decent upgrade for cheap, Probly around 100-150 with only upgrading my CPU.
