Holy crap. Lol nice build pick, literally the only thing I would think could be better is the case or power supply

I need your honest opinions, and what i can do to improve this build.
To start are you strictly gaming? If so, an i7 is a waste. So is the 16gb of RAM.
The Corsair H100i is a bad choice. Pick up a H110i or Kraken X61.
Motherboard is meh, but hugely over-priced.
Invest in a bigger SSD and HDD.
With the 980ti, you better be at 1440p or 4k. Any lower than that it is a waste.
Case is meh.
Invest in a better PSU. EVGA has great PSUs.
Optical drive, you dont really need it. Most things are done by USB.
Get OS for free or via G2A. You dont need a wireless adapter.
Ill build you one, but we need more info.
Will you overclock?
What will you use the PC for? Gaming? Editing?
Do you need a 1440p or 4k monitor?

Beautiful build. But as the guy above said... a lot of the parts are a waste.

I wouldn't say a waste, we don't even know what the OP is going to use it for.

i7 is pointless if you're not going to make use of the extra 4 threads over an i5. If you;re not overclocking, you could save a fair amount of $$. Do not pay $140 for your OS, that's just ridiculous. Either get your OS for free or get a key from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for $30. Do not pay retail price for your OS.
What is your full budget and currency?
What exactly will the system be used for?
What keyboard/mouse/monitor do you have?

Thank you all for you replies. I went with an i7 because I will also do a fair amount of rendering and live streaming.
My budget is around $3500 USD. I really need a video card that will handle most games in 4k at high settings.
And I plan to overclock

Do you have a 4k monitor? What keyboard and mouse do you have? If you're using not so great peripherals, it's probably worth an upgrade.

I'm planning on buying a 4k monitor with this build as well as a good keyboard. Probably from razor.
I currently have a razor mamba,

Yume wrote good keyboard... from razor
hmm, little contradictory.
Are you buying a monitor separately or do you need it included within the budget? What about the keyboard? How much do you have total for the rig, monitor and keyboard?
