Guys, can we cut it with the flaming. You guys are as bad as each other and its making the section look messy, stupid and drama-filled. There is a reason why a lot of the other pc nerds dont come in here any more!

Rant over, now time to get on with an actual help full post.

OP: you can pick from any of [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . They will pretty much all perform the same within a few degrees different. Personally, Id get [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Don't accuse users of flaming if they're not. Trying to educate a user who is making false claims, is far from flaming.

Respirator wrote Read the other replies, I showed several photos of proof. Retard.

Better watch what you say. If you're simply going to resort to flaming, it just shows you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Respirator wrote What? When I said it runs between 20-25 it means between those numbers you spastic and I said on start up.

Again, with the flaming. 20-25c obviously means the numbers included. If it's running at 23/24c, then you say that, not 20-25c. Saying your GPU runs at 20-25c gives the impression that your GPU runs at 20c, and above. You never once said "on start up".

Respirator wrote Do you seriously think that if I turn my PC on and instantly take a photo of the temperature it wont be between 20-25 degrees? I'm actually worried for you

No, I don't, becayse you're trying to use your motherboard's temperature to prove your GPU runs at 20c, lmao.

Motherboard at 24c, that does not mean that my GPU runs at 24c, because it doesn't. It runs at 33c, at idle.

Respirator wrote And don't bullshit me, I can find about 10 threads online that show that a cooler can easily cool down to as low as 30 Degrees.

You're really not getting it. The H100i is a CPU cooler, not a GPU cooler. You stated that your H100i was on your GTX 970, when it should be on your 4790k, unless you're using something like a G10, which I have already said, we can't tell form your photo since it's too dark, but it definitely doesn't look like it's on your GPU.

Respirator wrote Normal GPUs are about 40 Degrees on idle but most of them aren't cooled like mine are and they're far worse models. I don't think you understand my point. I'm not saying that my cooler is fully responsible for my GPU running so low, all I'm telling you that it does run that low and I'm showing photos. Irrelavent if it's because of how cold my room is or how many fans I have, IT DOES RUN THAT LOW.

Yet, you still haven't shown any valid proof of your GTX 970 running as low as 20c. If you're so adamant that you're 970 is that cool, show us a screenshot of your GPU in HWMonitor, not your motherboard.

Respirator wrote Your argument is pathetic. Do you seriously think that because my room temperature is 20-26 degrees then my CPU/GPU can't be any lower?

Um, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Your PC components simply can't be running at a lower temperature than the ambient temperature, unless you use something like Nitrogen to cool your components.

Respirator wrote There's so many other factors involved such as the fact that heat rises and guess what? My computer is beside a massive fan, a window and under a desk at the lowest point possible and better still, there's seven fans in my case! Most devices for recording temperature are placed at head height, not at the floor. I literally have no words to describe your stupidity. You clearly know nothing about temperature. Every computer is different, as I said before. stop crying.

I know every computer's temperature will be different, I never once said that all PC's ran at the same temperature. That doesn't mean they can run cooler than ambient temperature. If you were to run your rig somewhere in America, like Cali, it would likely run warmer since it's hotter over there.

Respirator wrote My motherboard temperature has nothing to do with my GPU tempature? No worries, oh look, I just set my motherboard on fire and.. oh look my GPU is getting hotter. Seems legit.

This literally makes zero sense.

Respirator wrote Are you serious? You don't know what a H100i looks like? You can clearly see the square with Corsair on it and the tubes and I've posted on various threads that I have a H100i, seriously my setup cost me over £2000, a £100 liquid cooler is nothing.

When did I say that I didn't know what an H100i is? A photo of a Corsair AIO LED logo is not proof of an H100i, but that's not what I'm saying. Not once have I said that you don't own an H100i. What I said, is that from the photo you have provided, it definitely doesn't look like you're using it on your GPU. $2K and you only have an H100i and GTX 970?

Respirator wrote And if I'm genuinely wrong (which i'm not) does it even matter?

I'm simply correcting you because you're making false claims.
