As title says above.
I switched ISP and my broadband is activated but I still haven't received my router which should have arrived on monday but still hasn't and was wondering if it's possible to connect to xbl just through the modem. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it.

If a regular Internet connection/modem then yes, the Xbox will get an IP automatically and connect to the Internet. DSL connection requires email/password during setup in order to connect to the Internet which you should be able to do over the Xbox. Rural Wireless (if your Internet comes from a cellular type tower) than it should also work without any special settings.
Hope this helps

simple answer, as long as the modem is registered with your ISP it should work 100%
