So my first question is what should I use between z97/x99/z170 I will be using this build for gaming and maybe some editing in the future. I want the build to be able to handle any game I throw at it maxed out no matter how demanding and I wanted to always have 50-60fps while doing it. No matter what setup I go with I want to overkill it because I do not want to have to upgrade anything for years to come. Which is why the 32gb of memory. I will be overclocking once I've figured out how lol. I'm still new to all this but I've been doing a lot of research on everything. But my other questions are in my z97 build why does it tell me the ddr3 2400 memory I've chosen will have to run at a lower voltage? Is this bad and should I just get memory clocked at 1866? Also I want to have my fan setup as follows one 140m fan in the back for exhaust, four 140m fans on my radiator on push pull configuration, and three 120m fans in the front as an intake. Will this setup be able to keep everything nice a cool. And are these fans I chose good? They had the fastest rpm's which I know means there louder but I only care about performance I will have headphones on while gaming anyway. Also that is eight fans all together so will I need to get a fan controller or can all eight plug into my motherboard? And Which option would be better?
That's all the questions I had so here's the builds.
(Z97)

(X99)

So there they are. I would prefer to get the z97 build because it's cheaper but I'm afraid it won't last as long as I want it to before needing to upgrade components. Feel free to change any of my builds around if you think you can make a better one for a similar price. And thanks in advance to who ever answers my questions. And sorry for asking so much I just want to make sure this pc is perfect. I feel like it needs to be with the amount of money I'm spending on it.

well I don't think you should have the mind set of future proofing, because the way computer components evolve, you will be upgrading at least once a year, so why not build a decently beast pc now and upgrade when you get money.
and 32gb of ram? is just insane for gaming even 16gb is still way over kill, you would even be fine with 4gb for at least a few more years, people recommend 8gb because you will probably never use more that 90-95% no matter how many programs you have open, I have 8gb in my system and I barley use 60-65% when I'm gaming and have a tone of programs open and on a skype call

You won't have to upgrade once a year, you upgrade whenever you choose to. That could be after a few months, or years.
What is your actual budget for this rig?
What kind of gaming will you be doing and how much editing?

My exact budget without the monitor is like $3000 the monitor makes it $3500 but i can push a few extra hundred if need be. As for gaming ill be playing games like farcry, gta5, cod, battlefield, the witcher, shadow of morder, garrys mod, csgo, and minecraft. And ill proubly edit and upload gaiming videos to youtube and also live stream on twitch because a have a brand new huppauge hd gaming 2 pvr just sitting here. also what about my other questions? I was thinking of changing the fans to corsair af and sp fans but the only sp140 they make has led's and i didint want to use Af140s for my push on my rad so i might have to go with a 240m rad instead maybe the newer h100i gtx? since corsair makes non led sp120s.

I'd do something like this;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
with a custom loop.
Don't get those shitty Razer headphones with the shitty Z506 speakers. Get a nice speaker set-up and nice headphone set-up. I'm not great with audio stuff, so wait for someone to come along and help with that. Xiggy will be able to help you with fans, he knows more about fans and what not than I do. I'd personally just grab a bunch of any decent fans.

I heard the Fury X runs a little less decent but at a pin point your receiving a water cooler too I suppose Drivers ain't as good as Nvidia (as I have been told) But then yet again I suppose with a card like that can it really run like trash?! especially with Dx12 on the loose. Also the fact the card only being 4gb. Damn Son since when did AMD decide to do that

Only 4gb? Games may be more demanding but 4gb is enough right now on 1080p.
I've heard Nvidias drivers are bad right now and buggy.

1300W PSU for XFire support, you can easily run 3x Fury's and still have loads of room.
Fury is air cooled. Get the Fury, adding more Fury X's in XFire could be a pain. Plus, you can unlock the Fury to a Fury X. PM me if you want the link for that and I'll find it. Definitely do this if you can, no reason not to. The Fury is a 4GB card, but it uses HBM technology. The Fury's memory bandwidth is greater than any other GPU on the market. Also, there was a Fury thats was unlocked to a Fury X and overclocked to a 100% increase on memory speed, so had a memory bandwidth of 1tb/s, which is insane. 980Ti would be my choice over a Fury or Fury X, but the Fury scales far better than the 980Ti in multiple GPU set-ups.
