honestly... this may work...

I have used various packet sniffers to decrypt wireless passwords and such, but I have NEVER thought of it this way...

The problem is, xbox send SO MUCH info to the servers, you would have to be lightning fast to get those packets.....

There is this one program (dunno what its called) that can be run on the host computer of a network and you can actually view EVERYTHING that goes through the IP. When I play on LIVE, there is a TON of stuff.

^^That was just to try to elaborate on how much info is transfered

Lets just say... Zondrina showed me and has explained all of his "Jacks of Trade when it comes to JTAGs" to me, such as the unbannable JTAG which I will soon aquire :p

But your theory IS on track.

Jester wrote Nah, I was using the normal, public freeBOOT 0.02 with custom patches written by unknown. But yes, this was before freeBOOT was single-NAND and it required a Cygnos. When we tried the same patches with XBR3 on single NAND, the ban time was still normal. This is why I said it was an accident and we don't really know why it happened.

Just posted that quote for informational purposes only. Not trying to say your theory is wrong.

This is what Jester said

"t was something that unknown had written, I believe it only worked on 8955 and required a cygnos. Long story short it was an accident that M$ couldn't detect my box anymore, and they banned me shortly after 9199 was released (7 weeks total). "
