I've tried everything i possibly can think of to try to fix this but nothing seems to work and i really don't want to restore my ps3 so if you guys have any solutions post them below i really need some help with this.

Go into recovery and restore file system after it's completed go into recovery again and rebuild database.
Only your messages get deleted.
