As much fun as RWD is do you really want a DD that is RWD in the snow? Will edit with car suggestions shortly.
Here is a great list of cars you can get in your price range

I am partial to subi and audi since awd/turbo and the fun factor is there

I would say that a Charger would be your best best, I have one and I live in NY. I have no problem driving in the snow with it. Good luck finding something!

Look on Craigslist.... We can tell you what is in your price range in our area, but that does you no good. You could buy a brand new Nissan Versa, or Ford Fiesta though. Also look at insurance, Mustangs, Camaro's, etc. will kill your budget.

A charger would be ideal. My uncle has one and he said they handle great in all weather conditions.

I would say mustang as I love mine, but they handle like ass in rain, cant imagine snow. Chargers are heavier and handle pretty good. Sounds like your best bet. Find a black one and make it similar to a cop charger haha. People around here do that and it really messes with you.

My old mustang was almost always sideways in the rain, and not on purpose. They're too light in the rear end to be able to keep traction, so it's always going to slip.
If you need the car to be sporty in rain and snow and be a daily driver, look into something getting a turbo'd 4cyl that's awd, you'll save a ton of money on gas and it'll handle a lot better. Also, on your budget you're not going to find any of the cars you listed with decent miles on them.

Exactly how mine is haha. Handles like ass with a slight wetness on the ground even.

you can get a very nice WRX for that, that has awd, 4cyl, fast and will certainly be able to handle in the snow. I'd honestly get a Outback XT too, they're awd, wagons with power and I'd imagine that insurance nor repairs would be very expensive for it. as far as rwd, maybe something like an RX-8? those are cheap but rotaries can be very tricky to work on esp after 100k
