So I've looked on yahoo and Google before i posted this but I've ordered something online that I have to be 18 to buy, I am only 17 so when it gets delivered will I have to provide ID or a signature or anything of the sort? I've been told if it is a small package its Royal Mail so will the postman say anything? If its a large package its a courier service so will they say anything either? I'm in the UK btw.
EDIT: The parcel came but I wasn't awake and they sent me a Royal Mail slip saying collect it from the Post office, I need to bring ID and all this. WHAT. Why have I gotta bring ID to pick up a parcel?!

If its signed for you are only signing to say you received the item not to confirm you are 18 and the postal service don't know whats being sent it's just a parcel.

What is it?
Will it not just fit through your letter box? or you can request that the mailman leaves it round the back or something so that no one has to sign or anything?

Just read that you've already ordered and stuff, you might still be able to do this though.
When i've been out and ive had a parcel coming you can update delivery option and request it be placed somewhere.
But it should be fine. just sign for it and will will be well i should think.

I'm pretty sure you wont get asked for ID, just your signature.
