I currently own a 1.0 corsa. By that you can tell I'm british.
Im looking for a second car. been driving for nearly a year now. I want a bigger engine and a better looking/performing car. also something I can do some work to.

I'm looking for something around £1000
Cheap to insure also petrol!

Any Ideas?

Golf 1.6. Great car and a little step up, they're still very cheap to insure and look like the bigger engine models (GTI, VR6, V5, R32).

Had one myself and they're great, get a MK4.

Good luck

LOL DO PEOPLE NOT READ

£1000 to spend and people suggesting Golf GTIs. LOL okay.

I'd suggest keep your Corsa for another year or two, save up more money, get your no claims discount and search in the years to come

Can you not read? i suggested a 1.6 Golf. A GTI is not a 1.6. You can also get a 1.4 version if you find the 1.6 too expensive.

What is the deal with men being attracted to a Fiesta? they look like girl cars.

Focus = Manly version of the Fiesta.

Yeah but if you chose a Fiesta over a Golf... God help you lol.

1.6 Golf or Golf GTI, he isn't gonna get one of those for £1000. Not a hope in hell. I still stand by what I said in waiting a few more years, waiting for your insurance premiums cheaper and you have more disposable income to spend on the car.

Well, again you're wrong. You can pick up a MK4 for £600-£1000 easy. Insurance will be around 1k but it's the same for every car.
