Is there anyway to hide from certain apps that you have root. There are some apps i want, but i cannot open them because i have a rooted device.

Just not allow root in super user. it makes the app think it doesn't have root access.

You tried root hider? Also what phone/android version you on?

If you've rooted your phone you should download xposed installer. From there you will be able to install root cloak. It works great. I believe there is another mod in there that will also prevent root check for exchange email.
