So every time my friend roots my LG G3 lollipop and when I go to root checker it says it wasn't installed properly he is following everything and doing it right someone help please post download links and everything I need

Well maybe your friend is using an outdated root method or the root checker is just unable to detect your phone's root. If you get the chance PM me and I can try to help you successfully root it.
