So FIFA 16 comes out in the UK on 24th September and it comes out on the 22nd September in the US so would I be able to switch my region to the US and pre order the game off the US store using a $60 gift code then switch back to the UK region when the game is released ?

Yes, i've done it with multiple games, Fifa 16, GoW UE, works fine.
