So I recently bought the Blue Yeti and a stand for it. I tried attaching it to said stand and it didn't fit so I thought, maybe the stand just has a different thread size and I didn't look into it enough. A week later my shockmount (RADIUS II) comes in the mail (keep in mind this is made by the same company, and made to fit the Yeti) and I try to attach it to my Yeti; to my surprise the shockmount that is made for the Yeti, does not fit the Yeti. I sat there out of words for about an hour after that.

That's weird because mine is perfectly fine. Blue licensed products will always work for the product. Did you dismount the microphone from the base desktop stand?

I bought a Blue Snowball for my YouTube work, had no issues with it even after dropping it from heights that would have broken an ordinary microphone. (not intentionally of course).

Perhaps the stand you have bought is a more up to date version or out of date.

I would discuss it with your manufacturer, perhaps you can get them to tell you which would work and maybe a refund for the last one. Assuming you haven't snapped it in half with rage.

That's a bummer man!, I would ring them back up and ask them to replace the parts. And are you sure you bought them from an official Blue Yeti source and not from someone selling Third Part parts..

I've had my Yeti for little over a year now and i'm having a blast with it. I use it for Skype, Steam, Other Games Daily and i've never had a problem with it. There so many things you can do with your voice this mic is absolutely amazing.
