I graduated High School in 2013. This year I started Online College and am currently in only two classes. Doesn't sound like a lot I know but I am truly struggling in my English class. On simple things like write a summary and paraphrasing. It sucks but I have to go thru with it other wise it would be a waste of money and I feel like this will be the only way to succeed. I'm going for computer science right now. I work a full time job in a factory and I could not do that for the rest of my life. I don't like it and I want to make more money.. Grr.

Maybe instead of taking your major along with other classes like English, Math, etc. you should have gone to a technical school and learn a hands on trade and you won't have to take those English classes.

You should have went into a school and did the course instead of an online course, cause then if you were struggling or stuck then you would have gotten help there and then rather than waiting for an email back or however they contact you

I think you would enjoy it more and find it easier to have your classmates and your professor there to help. Maybe after this semester is over you switch to regular classes instead of online? Might help you more than you think, and save you money since online classes are generally more expensive.

Online school (especially for gamers) is a substantially harder route to follow than physically attending a college. The threat to get side tracked by much more entertaining things is increased severely, especially when you look down on your menu bar and see that Fallout 3, Skyrim, CoD, etc. icon staring at you oh so seductively.
