Daniel- wroteHacz wroteMost of those $5000 builds are just a bunch of overkill components to have the best of the best. My friend paid $4250 to build a PC and it was way overkill for the little things that he wanted to do.
I usually just beef up what I need the most. For my PC that I do programming, video editing, and other processor heavy work, I went all out on the processor and went less on the video card. For my gaming PC though, I just mainly went even for all the components to have an overall fast computer for the $1300 I spent on it.
yes if you spend like $1500 on a pc , you can already have a amazing pc ,
Maybe for that price you can even get a pc what can run every game on ultra settings
Yeah it pretty much can. It runs all the games I play at Ultra (if not, borderline Ultra). Many people think you have to spend like $3000+ on a PC just to play games at max settings and get decent frames. But really it just boils down to deciding which component to spend more money on!

I'm 14 aswell, when I bought my PC, I wanted it to be really really good. but according to most people, a really really good pc is like $5000. (100% not true)
I spent $1200AUD on my pc and it runs anything I want on the max setting at 60fps.
Overall I love it, and glad a spent. So don't go over $1500 on your pc. (Unless you want to run like 3 max games at once)

Well I just finished my PC (budget was $1000) but the most I'd spend would be around $2,500. Anything over that would be a waste and overkill.

Spent £1500 for everything including a £250 monitor etc...
For pure gaming you don't need to spend that much £700 would get you a very good build capable of 1080p ultra settings,
Visit the PC Building section if you still need help.

I've probably spent a good £1500 on my pc and peripherals in the last year and will drop a few hundred more in the next few coming months.
But to answer your question, depending how much money it takes to be in my high level of standard of looking good. I wouldn't be affraid to put £3000 in a pc that I would build. That is ofcourse, if my financial situation was different.

I ordered a PC build for $1500. It's going to be a monster. You can get a really good PC at like $800, but I'd never go over $3000, that's straight overkill haha.

Depends on what you'll use the pc for. Or heavily use the pc for. Ex: Gaming, Programming, school stuff, etc.
But, you can have an above average pc at $1,000.
Mine's around $900-$1000 and I use it heavily for gaming and 3d rendering.
