Hey guys i know a little about water cooling i know the basics and what i need but i need help deciding what exact parts i need. I have a lga 1150 i5 4690k corsair spec o1 case, there are two 240mm spaces for radiators also i have a gtx 970 strix, i would like to build my own loop includiong cpu and gpu and my theme is red so please help me pick out some parts. Rule of thumb, for overclocking headroom you want at least 240mm of rad space per item being cooled, so in your instance CPU+GPU so minimum of 420mm* worth of rads

Moving on, I would reccomend a case upgrade first before you do this, the more radiators the better and putting a nice custom loop in a cheap case seems silly. Take your pick out of the Fractal Design Define S, Phanteks Enthoo Pro (Full tower, can vouch for and I have a review in the hardware reviews sticky of it) and the Phanteks Enthoo M.
As for the loop we need to know a budget and a currency before we can help with that.

970 is very low power even when overclocked you'd be able to get away with a 360 rad with plenty of headroom.

Still, it can get very hot when heavily overclocked which is what you would do with a custom loop..
